I stand before the easel and my hand begins to move the brush. Then something happens. I feel as though I could reach out and touch God. I find myself painting a world, one I’ve never seen nor visited before, and images come into my head – they just seem to leave my head and appear on the canvas… There are some days when I think I’m going to die from an overdose of satisfaction and then there are days when satisfaction is a fleeing mistress.
